For the Forest was filmed over four days in the Sierra Nevada, Colombia, in collaboration with the NGO Make Me Smile. Using a Canon mirrorless camera, iPhone, drone, and external microphones, I focused on natural light and minimal gear to stay agile in remote conditions. The film aims to showcase the beauty of nature and bring the audience closer to the forest—while authentically representing the daily work and impact of the NGO and local communities.
